Why I Made this Costume: At the time, I hadn't created any costumes that involved elaborate wigs, and wanted something to try wig-styling on.

How I Made this Costume: The dress was very simple. I used the skirt/petticoat from a dress I found at Salvation Army, and made the nude-coloured top, cuffs, and collar. The top is very ill-fitting, for a few reasons: 1. it's made out of satin and it should really be made out of something stretchy, and 2. I kept losing weight when I made it, so everytime I wore it it was too big. The wig was made with a long black wig, four packs of hair, and two styrafoam cones. I glued the cones on the wig and pulled the wig's hair up over them. I used two packs of hair on each cone for the ponytails. The shoes...were covered in satin and were absolutely horrible.

My Thoughts on this Costume: This costume was definately a good learning experience for me. The costume itself sucks, but styling the wig really taught me a lot. That alone makes this costume a success.
